Alpha Protocol-DRM explicat

Blogul celor de la Sega a fost actualizat cu unele informatii despre DRM-ul folosit in versiunea PC a jocului Alpha Protocol,al celor de la Obsidian Entertainment.Vestea cea buna este ca aceasta metoda de protectie va disparea dupa ceva timp de la lansarea jocului,dar fiind faptul ca aceasta metoda de protectie a reusti mai mult sa ii enerveze pe cumparatori,decat sa ii tina la distanta pe pirati.

The system chosen for Alpha Protocol is Uniloc: SoftAnchor. The system will allow the user to activate Alpha Protocol online immediately out of the box and once activated the user never needs to worry about activating again. The activation can be used on a limited amount of PCs, and can be deactivated through our online servers allowing the user full control over their license – should they need to re-install, swap machines or suffer a catastrophic hardware failure on their normal PC.

In the future, SEGA will be releasing an unprotected patch of the game to alleviate any fears of not being able to play the game when the Uniloc servers won’t be around anymore.

We also do not use Steamworks – the Steam released version will use Uniloc DRM.

Asadar,puteti sa va instalati jocul de cinci ori pe computere diferite,dupa care puteti "dezactiva" jocul,iar apoi sa il reactivati din nou pe alt calculator.Nu este necesara o conexiune permanenta la internet si ai voie sa instalezi jocul de cinci ori,pe cinci computere diferite,daca doresti.Daca este sa ma intrebati pe mine,metoda DRM aleasa de producatorii jocului Alpha Protocol mi se pare grozava.
